I know it's weird to put up a corner like this in my site but I'm bored... So I tried to do something that will save me from boredom and this is what I kinda thought of... Like other anime, there are some people who hates Flame of Recca and some who likes it. You can send your feelings about Flame of Recca to me if you want to... and of course, I encourage you to! You can praise it, trash it, honor it, send it to hell or anything...
Plot
Regarding the plot of Flame of Recca, I like it. I believe a lot of viewers like it too. Apparently, I believe Flame of Recca is better than YuYu Hakusho in the sense that YuYu Hakusho always has this tournament here and there to see who's the strongest. In Flame of Recca, they were only forced to do it right? I'm sure some will say that Yusuke and the rest of the gang were also forced in the Toguro Tournament but what about the Demon World Tournament? Wasn't Yusuke the head of the incident???Characters
The characters are the main reason why I read Flame of Recca. At first, I don't like it too much... it was until Koganei appeared that I liked FoR. Of course, it didn't stop there. I also liked everyone of the Shishitens and the three Jyushinshus (Raiha, Joker, Neon). Of course, Kurei will never be left out! Rassen, Kirin and Koku are also really cool! However, I hate a bunch of people as well. This is the main reason why I encourage everyone to submit their comments. I really hate Mikagami and Fuuko... sorry to the mikos and the rest of the Mikagami and Fuuko fans. Of course, everyone would hate Mori, Mowkuren and Mikoto right? Who would blame them? They're really annoying! Rumor says mori will eat Renge up... that's why he's happy that Renge's having human feelings right? When he eats her, he'll be able to use the Sacred Flame to destroy Yanagi's Holy barrier... oh! About the anti Yanagi peeps, I don't blame them either because Yanagi is really irresponsible. Everyone would always do something to save her. But I don't hate her ^^;;Songs
Oh Yeah! The songs are really cool! I don't like Love is Changing that much though... Nanka Shiawase is far better than Hohoemi no Bakudan and I like Zutto Kimi no Soba de a lot more than Daydream Generation! The Character's theme are also irresistable especially for Recca's Theme(Recca's Flame), Mikagami's Theme(The Water Swordsman), Fuuko's Theme (Fuuko's Fuujin) and the noble ending of FoR... (End of the Tournament).Anime
The anime sucks. That's what everyone would say when they read the FoR mangas. A lot of great scenes were slashed down to bits in the anime. Joker never helped Hokage in the anime. J keeper wasn't even there... and above all else, the true ending wasn't revealed. Even Tendou Jigoku and Raijin, which are considered MAJOR MADOUGUS in the story, weren't used. The only thing great in the anime version is the artwork. Even when the drawings in the manga are getting better, it can't match the anime.Manga
Of course, anyone who wouldn't want the anime would want the manga. A lot happened here. The final five episodes of the anime was from volume 12-16! So imagine how much you'd fail to see in the anime! Joker never used Teishaku Kaiten's gravitation, Kaoru didn't use the sixth form, Recca never used Koku's power, and Noroi didn't use his cannon. What's bad in the anime? Two things. One, artwork. In the latter part of the manga, volume 12 and the next volumes, the artworks have improved, but when you read from volume 10 and below, you'll probably hate it. Just look at Kurei in his manor. He'd better be a ghost rather than a Flame Caster. Two, Censorship. Ah! My Goddess! That's probably what you'll say when you read Anzai san's manga. It's completely uncensored! You'll see Kurei and Neon unite, Raiha beheading Soukakusai, Kai's arm being cut down, Kurenai's explosion, Mori eating girl's head, arm, etc.* Of course, there was one main thing uncensored in the manga. Everyone who reads manga should know... *
